All children should have access to a high quality education and educational resources, regardless of zip code or economic status.

This has not always been the case along the Buford Highway Corridor. I worked with the Board of Education member Anna Hill against the fierce opposition of school principals to redistrict some attendance lines in Doraville to allow most students to attend the new school that was also closer to their home. I am told that my opponent has only met with the Board of Education member once in four years. DeKalb County needs a champion who will work with all stakeholders for the betterment of the entire county.

All children should have access to quality schools and educational resources, regardless of zip code or economic status.
