Fair Elections and Representation

I have been a fierce advocate for fair elections and representation. When I was elected in 2020, there were three at-large districts in Doraville, and one of the three districts represented almost two-thirds of the population of the entire city. This violated federal law, and it was illegal. The city council refused to redistrict as required by law in the last two censuses.

I fought hard to create equal representation and ensure residents were well represented. While I was not able to eliminate all at-large voting, we ultimately came up with a unanimous consensus to redistrict that will be fully implemented by 2026.
